Radio Lebanon 96.2 FM, in partnership with SCAC, The Basement, In Concert, Incognito, Leoparts, Time Out Beirut and El Tek, is organizing a modern music contest for the Lebanese youth.
The aim of this non-lucrative competition is to promote young Lebanese talent and to encourage musical creativity.

This project is taking place in two steps:

Step 1:
A submission call was launched throughout Lebanon: musicians, aged between 18 and 35, should send in their demos before November 30th.
During the first week of December, a professional jury will select the best candidates from these demos.
In December, a compilation album including all selected tracks will be released by Incognito Productions.

Step 2:
A launch event for this compilation album will take place at The Basement, in the early weeks of 2009: all the bands featured on the album will be invited to perform live on stage!
The jury will proceed to select a laureate, and award him the «Prize of the Jury»: this artist or band’s album will be produced and distributed by Incognito.
In turn, the public will vote through Radio Lebanon and during the concerts for its favourite artist, and award the «Prize of the Public».
